Day 1

My New Year's resolution was to start journaling. Not for posterity, but for memory. Jason asked me what was my favorite moment of the past year, and I couldn't answer the question. Not that I didn't have a favorite moment, but I couldn't remember anything in particular.

So this will be my attempt to stave off memory loss. Some days will be tedious and some whiny, but my goal is to write something each day.

January 8, 2013
Worst moment:
Jamie texted me this morning while I was at work, to let me know that he had locked his keys in his truck at school. School is an hour or more away from where I work.
Best moment:
Jamie texted me this morning while I was at work, to let me know that he had locked his keys in his truck at school. Jamie doesn't share readily with me and it was gratifying to have him turn to me when he thought he needed my help.
It didn't hurt either when he texted back that he had been able to get into his truck with the assistance of Campus Police and I didn't have to drive all the way to Barnesville, GA this afternoon!
Note of interest:
Jason is out of town this week, at school in Orlando. While he is gone, little demons come to play in our lives here at home. Yesterday, the dogs pulled a crock-pot filled with our dinner off the kitchen counter and shattered it all over the kitchen floor. This morning Jamie locked his keys in the truck. What will happen tomorrow? We will find out . . .
Matter of record:
Worked from 9:00 to 2:00 then went home to let the dog out, played with the other dogs, did some light housework, make dinner and then attended bible study. Set up a new blog, wrote first post then headed to bed.  God night world!
